civilpek
well 2007 has been a particulary good year for my "model" contracting business, with an excellent silage and cereal harvest for a change. Pit silage harvested this year was up to 4700 acres a good jump from last year and bales made were just under 16,000. Cereal land harvested and cultivated remained at approximately 3300 acres for each, however we are expecting some growth in this area for next year as alot of existing customers have indicated they will be putting more land into cereals next year. Based on the previous year we have decided it would be a good time to shuffle the tractor fleet for next season, and have decided to sell some tractors to make way for some newer arrivals. for sale (ps im not really selling them so no offers ) M.F. 3670 6243hrs M.F. 3655 5065hrs M.F. 3070 7012hrs new tractors for 2008 M.F. 6495 bought bran new M.F. 6480 bought bran new M.F. 8160 bought second hand with 2678hrs So the tractor line up for 2008 will be M.F 3690 5190hrs M.F 6190 4008hrs M.F 6190 4334hrs M.F 6290 4123hrs M.F 6290 3800hrs M.F 6290 3956hrs M.F 8160 2678hrs (bargin buy) M.F 8270 3500hrs M.F 6495 Bran new M.F 6480 Bran new We will also be hiring in for the planting/silage season a fendt 716 and an 818. So how was the year for the rest of ye?

NewHolland2
Has been a good year up here........Not bought too much in the way of new equipment with the only notable purchases being a New Holland T6070 to replace another one of our 52 plate TM140's leaving the tractor fleet with:- N Reg Ford 276 Bi-Directional 52 Plate New Holland TM140 05 Plate New Holland TS135-A 07 Plate New Holland T6070 The New Holland TX66 is still going strong and completed another successful harvest this year........ On the tattie front we purchased a new front topper for the John Deere 6920S apart from that the fleet remains the same with:- 02 Plate John Deere 6920S 03 Plate John Deere 6920 03 Plate John Deere 6520 with Loader 03 Plate John Deere 6520 06 Plate John Deere 7920 03 Plate John Deere 5410 R Reg John Deere 6200 Still using the 2 Wuhlmaus Harvesters which also completed a fairly trouble free harvest and the X Reg John Deere 3200 still does all the handling of boxes in the field with the Linde forklift still happily working in the shed........
