JC
Me neither, would look ok fitted properly though, so there were no gaps around the mud gaurds etc.
MJB1
or just fit the loader properly & get shot of the cab

MJB1
no, i really think the loader suits it ,but those DBs usually had a lambourne cab if any.
IH885XLMAN
no, i really think the loader suits it ,but those DBs usually had a lambourne cab if any. your right about that but ill have to look out for another loader Im not pulling this one to pices & it looks quite complex to copy or i might have ago at scratchbuilding one more true to a david brown loader (orange brackets and all)
JC
You could quite easily fit a britians loader to that i reckon.
IH885XLMAN
i suppose it would look good with that cab thats on the major the that geezer's knocking out for 25 quid in its current colour
NIGEL FORD
Winsams were used on DB's but the Britains 135 cab is a DUPLE I believe. It was used also on one of the 2 6cylinder NORTHROPs built on the Pre-Force 5000 skid units.(Wait for it.... what's a NORTHROP?!!!!!) Tractorman810
build airplanes don't they?
The-classic-collector
for those who dont know northrop were a tractor conversion company, they started in the 1965. and after seeing other conversion companies rise such as bray, roadless, and matbro. they aimed to give the customer a reliable 4wd powerhouse! the first tractor being produced in 1964 simply by converting a normal 2wd tractor into 4wd. if anyone wants to know more feel free to ask me, i have a large amount of information on them. and if i remember rightly novembers classic tractor has an article on a 5004 being restored. MJB1
Yeah although they were a odd to look at,& by all accounts hard to find a loader to fit it. \ or i might have ago at scratchbuilding one more true to a david brown loader (orange brackets and all) what orange brackets & stuff for a red 990 ? surly not
IH885XLMAN
na i might buy another 990 whilst there still in the range and convert it to White and orange david brown case 995 or 996 but its going to be a long time off yet hence i might make orange brackets for a scratch built loader
