Now sometime back in May 2006 i posted my first conversions on this site. One of them was an MF 699 based on a MF 2860.

I got told off , quite rightly, because the 2860 is a much bigger tractor than the 699.

Well its taken a while but i finally got around to re doing it.

This is all fairly standard fare, Ros cab and floor plan, BM chassis, 2860 bonnet and rear wheels and front wheels from somewhere ?

If i can get my hands on some more 2860 rear wheels there is a 399 waiting in the wings.

I'm still looking for those wheels Adie!

I've now successfully located the pile in one of the barns, just need to go through the boxes now to find the right one.

Will keep you posted.

Then we can see how this 399 comes along. That's spurred me on into looking harder!
