AndyB Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I know this is not a new one but I was just after opinions on it. Is it as good as the current crop of precisions or is the detail now comparable with UH, also do you feel that this will appreciate like the more recently disscontinued precisions etc, etc Quote
JC Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I wish I had bought cases of them when they were readily available for less than ?50. Quote
Rick Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 there pretty cheap now over here 40 to 50 pounds Quote
jas Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 The Case IH 450 precision model is comparable in quality to the other 1/32 precision models released by Ertl. Comparison to UH models: The Ertl precision models are much more robustly-built in comparison to UH models. I think that UH has an advantage in that they generally have finer detail. The Ertl models, however, use less plastic in comparison to the UH models. However, both companies put out great models. Price appreciation: The Ertl precision models, JD 8400 tractor and JD 9750 combine, have both appreciated in the last year. They now cost between $150 - $195 or 75 ? 85 British Pounds, in the United States. The JD 9420T tractor has not appreciated over original cost. The remaining 1/32 precision tractors are still considered currently releases so they have not had any price movement since their release. Quote
