mc cormick Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 hi does that xtx 185 have air brakes. if it does what are they like. because we have one at work and it is always in and out of the garage with brakes and gearbox trouble. the the other mc cormicks are fine. then they dont have air brakes. Yes she has air brakes but she hasen't been to much trouble really silly things like hyd fittings the main problems with the xtx200 on her fourth speed sensor it locks the gears in a low gear but talking to a rep at lama he said it was the heat that knocks the sensors out and they are the fourth different colored sensor that should take more heat so keeping our fingers crossed the xtx200 has no air brakes Quote
Deere-est Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I know there is a demand for dust suppressed hay and stuff but that surely isn't the way to do it?!! :D Makes for excellent photo's though it has to be said. Quote
mc cormick Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 thanks for that info. the xtx 185 at work has gone to the garage for the second time in two weeks it is to do with the gears in her it seems like the sensor is gone in our one two from what you are saying. the back end in the 185 also gives us trouble from time to time. she has being all over ireland in different garages and they all do little modifations to the brakes at last a short while then go again. we had a 175 that gave a pull of trouble it was always in the garage then that was swapped for the 185. it must be a a thing with big mc cormicks because our small ones never give any trouble ad they are the 2 mtx 140 and the mtx 135. plus their is a lot of small mc cormicks up to mtx 140 around me and they always are going fine. we have the only big one around the place and it is the only on the dealer has sold. rich.new holland Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 you would have to know the fields good in those conditions \, as u could go straight into a ditch \ Quote
