Powerstarâ„¢ Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 As you all know I work for an agricultural contractor. Just thought i'd post a few pictures of both. Don't ask me which ones better because I like them both, NH is alot more powerful, opened up to 140HP, but the JD is 57 reg and I had it on 400 hours. Any questions, fire away. Quote

Powerstarâ„¢ Posted February 1, 2008 Author Posted February 1, 2008 Tried to add it last night, wouldn't let me \ Here's the JD! ha ha!......at the garage Quote
Powerstarâ„¢ Posted February 1, 2008 Author Posted February 1, 2008 Took some getting used to, it looses revs and takes ages to go in to 13. Bit annoying, but you do get used to it. Quote
jdc Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Thanks, had a drive of a new one and it was OK - just wondered what they were like with some wear on them Quote
Powerstarâ„¢ Posted February 1, 2008 Author Posted February 1, 2008 This one has done nearly 3000 hours. No major problems. Still like new! Quote
rabh7840 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 nice pics whats the tsa like for power with a full load up a hill a lot of people say there dead compared to a ts115 but my mate has a tsa and i dont think thats the case \ Quote
Powerstarâ„¢ Posted February 2, 2008 Author Posted February 2, 2008 Well tis one is 140HP instead of 115, so it's far better that a TS115! On the hills its not too bad, we use 11 Ton Richard Western SF 11's, and it copes well. Quote
rabh7840 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 i think they are a very good tractor but a lot of people dont like them, though they probaby have never driven one i hate people that slag off tractors that they know nothing about! Quote
Powerstarâ„¢ Posted February 2, 2008 Author Posted February 2, 2008 Yeah I know what you mean, You can't say a tractors bad without driving it unless it's a Massey No...on a more serious note, The JD is a far easier, more comfortable experience. But after a few days in either one you adjust to it and think no more of it. Quote
rabh7840 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 ive driven a jd 6520 and a 6830 and was well impressed with both john deere seems to be the machine at the mo ;) Quote
