Deere-est Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Well here we go then. The Mendip Hall, Bath and West Showground near Shepton Mallet, Somerset. Cold, cold wind, cold hall!! No joke, that was a cold day stood in that hall. You had to go outside and get colder just to feel the slight warmth of being out of the wind when you came back in. Sean (Tractorman810) Mark (OLD FORD) and myself all put our pennies worth in to create a display for our own prowess and to advertise Farmtoysforum. Sean, the salesmen had his lines well rehearsed from Toytrac - "Are you a member? "Take a card, it's free to join. Just think of a username and password and away you go." Many took his words and the little flyers, some were members; some were not. I think alot of interest was generated for the hobby and for the Forum. Maybe more so than at Toytrac even as there was a broader audience. Alot more people asked us about the displays, how to's, where to's etc etc. Anyway, shall I shut up? yeah let's get on with the pics. Quote
