i have had this in mind since i saw the fergy 5480 was coming out, the 6480 and newer 5480 which is a fairly new addition to the 5000 series as far as i can tell, are both basicly identical tractors, bar wheels from pics i have seen, so seeing as i had a set of uh deutz ttv 's and a front hitch, i thought i would try it out, and with a small amount of tinkering it worked to, ,only minor problem i broke the steering arm when the screwdriver slipped removing the front axel, nothings is fixed properly at present, still got a few bits to sort, but heres how she looks

Well done Sean nice convo, I reckon its spot on for a 6470, probably slightly small for a 6480. According to the brochures the 5480 has a wheelbase of 2.67m and sits on standard 14.9R28 fronts and 18.4R38 rears, the 6480 has a wheelbase of 2.82m and the same size tyres. the extra length is due to the 5480 having a 4 cylinder Sisu engine and the 6480 having a 6 cylinder Perkins. The 6470 has the same engine and dimensions as the 5480.

I suppose when you look at it like that 4mm is hardly worth bothering about.
