Deere-est
I like that Fendt in red/orange it looks quite smart, as does the Bergmaan spreader. Do you know they were spreading? It looks like mushroom compost

Richard de Florennes
Thanks for all the feedback, the red Fendt was once upon a time operated by one of the largest contractors in our region; Kappertz-Rheinhausen (see http://www.kappertz-agrarservice.de/'>http://www.kappertz-agrarservice.de/); they have all their implements painted red. Yes they are spreading compost (thus no pain in the nose ;-)) I just find out that the URL mentioned above because one part of the URL contains a evil English word for bottom; so it is correct http://www.kappertz-agrar service.de/ and then make agrar and service one word without space ;-)
Richard de Florennes
due to the good reception, here are two more pics of the red Fendt and the Bergmann sprayer (or spreader, what is correct English?)

Richard de Florennes
great pics, i really love the countryside over there. keep them coming ok, and I have not finished yet. Because what made this day so special was the fact, that after this first tour in the morning and around midday I phoned the big carrot company mentioned above, asked them about any carrot seeding going on and after beeing briefed about the time-and-location-schedule for the day, I made another 30 miles tour at late-afternoon in order to experience the first seeding-session of this year. However on the way to the location I found a Renault operating, "forcing" me to stop for a minute:
Richard de Florennes
and after a difficult search I found a pack of three tractors about to begin preparing a new carrot field just before sun-set. They are operated by Brocker, a large Carrot company operating on some 400 acres (only carrots, all fields leased by local farmers in our area, as after carrots there as to be kept a time of at least five years until carrots can be grown on the same field again, due to nematodes. Brocker operates 13 John Deere tractors of the size shown here and two old Internationals restored two years ago, used for seeding as an experiment and now used for this purpose on a rgular manner as the small tractor offers some advantages, regarding soil compaction and fuel consumption ...
