The chains tow hook had come off the eye and was dangling free (ooh what a thought on a sweaty afternoon!!) and as I backed out of a corner . . . so did the less than tensile, high tensile electric fence!! Quote

Tractorman810 Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 are you working for a contractor then tris or a mate Quote
Deere-est Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Jooooohn!! How cheeky. . . that calls for a shoe lace tieing together at Spalding by me the Phantom Hobbit shoelace tier!! It's the farm I worked on when I was younger. Back there to clean out a chicken shed but he just realised the date . . . hedges needa trimming and crops needa dressing!! Quote
batcher Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 You better keep going all night if ya gona the trimming done by friday (well if he gets payments) And would have thought flat rolling would have more important Ohh and of course fencing Not bad for an afternoons work Quote
Deere-est Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 That's why he has got a panic on , funny old job. Originally I was asked to come in to help with the chicken shed as he wanted to do it all in house this year to save money. So then, just as we are getting on with the job really well he sends me off trimming because he is behind with it. ... so now he sends me off fert spinning tomorrow as the crops need a kick up the root!! Everything is important, no-one has any time!! Hey Steve, what trimmer do you use and is it electric controls? Quote
MJB1 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 shame you didn't come to an agreement a while back , you would have had the green & blue looking well tidy , . got to admit the farms in a nice place , & all that clean concrete yard a delivery drivers dream Quote
