bahiafen
A couple of pics of the latest project. Still in the very early rough stages so don?t be too critical, but you get the rough idea. Still need to add the drive wheels and markers and maybe Temix tanks???. Also need to adjust the linkage as it sits to low and therefore subsequently does not lift to high. But should complement the low loader Seed tanks from a Siku drill and wheels are the spools from music tapes

JC
Have you managed to get this finished yet?? Would be good to see the finished article.
bahiafen
Sorry still in the same unfinished state and filed under the "to difficult to do folder" Been doing a few easier jobs like my pump and spreader, next up is a standen planter got the bits and now have the photos care of the forum, plus some small mods to the Marston tailboard and maybe a dumper. The drill was something i have thought about for a while but was abit to fiddly for me, better to stick with the bigger simpler conversions as i don't have any special equipment to hand. May revisit the drill later as i have seen some very good ones on other sites and think i need to invest some time in improving the units. Deere-est
Its the fact that you have used the spools from cassette tapes that gets me. Talk about ingenuity!! Good idea and a nice looking model already. :)
jdc
That looks very tidy to me. A lot of very fiddly work gone into it.
