FarmtoysDK
Hi Thx mate. JD 4020 4WD with Hiniker from Ertl. A lot of 70?s tractors from the US had Hinikers as an option. Ford, JD, MF, IH, Oliver, Mineapolis Moline. Actually working on a Ford 9600 with Hiniker. Sonny
Lord Ferguson
Thats interesting... I didn't know that Sonny.. thanks for the information
FarmtoysDK
Cabless tractors in the US was often fitted with Hinikers when the owner decided to get a cab for it. So I guess the Hinikers must be very easy to adapt. Working on a 2805 V8 atm also, but not quite ready for photos yet. Sonny

allis8550
The Hiniker Co. is still in existence in the USA but no longer makes cabs, they now specialise in spray equipment and snow clearing equipment. Whilst Sonny is correct in saying Hiniker cabs were fitted to many makes of tractor ,including MM's, Olivers, JD's and others they were aftermarket cabs, in the same way as our Lambourne or Staydry cabs were and were not factory fitted. The cabs on the MF 1155's were factory fitted cabs and were not I believe made by Hiniker, although they appear very similar. http://www.hiniker.com/

Simon
The cabs are very similar aren't they, the Hiniker seems to taper in a bit more at the bottom but other than that there's not a lot in it. 10/10 I say. Nice one Sonny.

fordson major
That is a really nice looking tractor you have made The Hiniker cab is as close as you can get without a lot of chopping and changeing I drove an 1155 the other day and also own an 1135 with the massey cab. The rear of the cab and fender is different and the massey only has one door on the left of the cab and an opening window on the right the front and rear side windows also do not open as on the Hiniker. I am hopeing to do a model of the 1135 before i sell it unless you want to build one for me and ship it to Canada?
