britainsnut
there is definately something dodgy between that seller and bidder especially if you start looking at the feedback for previous items bought and sold between them.
THEBRITFARMER
I was just looking at pinkkitten100 feedback. That baler you bought ihatepoundland, pinkkitten100 bought the same one in January. 1grom999 has a lot of multiples for sale 3 shawne poole trailers ???????? Even the pics he uses are all the same. This is so blatant its unbelievible, luckily he seems to win most of his own auctions so must be paying the fees! Has someone here reported him, if not, I'll do it
Goodhead
if he is bidding on his own auctions , its probably to up his positive feed back. Naughty!!!
Old Ford
AND HES NOT LEFT FEED BACK FOR OTHERS???????????????
JC
Only one of the feedback from each ebay member actually registers on your ebay score, ie; if you sold 20 items to the same person and they left you 20 lots of positive feedback, your feedback score would only go up by one point, If you then sold them another item a month later, and they left you positive feedback again, your score would not alter. Goodhead
i hate that about ebay. i bought loads of stuff from dave towse on ebay. would have great feedback now
THEBRITFARMER
Just received an email from ebay saying I am not bound to buy the item (see earlier post this section). The ebay seller is no longer a registered user. Did you report him ihatepoundland?? Hope you get your tractor cuttsco
ihatepoundland
I've been looking and can not actually find away to report shill bidding, maybe I'm being cynical but its not actually bad for ebay themseleves.....
JC
I got a full refund on the tractor from britainsmad earlier tonight after confronting the seller, I think he started to realise I wasn't a happy chappie!! I've taken the liberty of leaving him some not so positive feedback, just in case he manages to keep trading. I noticed 1grom999 wasn't trading anymore earlier today, I've been viewing the blossoming relationship between him and pinkkitten in"my ebay" and all the items dissappeared this afternoon. Well done to who :)ever reported him if it was someone on here.
ihatepoundland
I suspect he is actually a member of these boards myself...
JC
It's pretty straight forward reporting problems to ebay, go to the help page and use the search bar to find your problem subject and then its pretty much a case of sending an email to ebay. Remember the portacabin Ihatepoundland? The winning bidder on that was a crooked something or other, I received an email shortly after the auction ended from the winning bidder wanting to pay me ?4,000 for it, the only catch being that I forwarded ?3,000 to a third party by western union!!! I reported it to ebay as I knew it to be a fraud attempt. Within an hour I had received a final value credit on the sale and the buyer was no longer a registered user. ihatepoundland
I've done it before for curcumvention of fees, this time I don't know where to go, This is as far as I've got: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/seller-shill-bidding.html Then nowhere to go.
