ploughmaster
To that I would say "Not genuine Britains"!!! Unless someone else knows different.
SIMON.
I'd go along with that Mark as well the beacon is wrong for that model it was a hard orange one not a glass type one \ \
ploughmaster
I would agree with that, and it is definately not an original britains box, in spite of the wording of the listing suggesting it is - bit underhand IMO and bordering on fraudulent. archtech
is the seller asking a bit much for this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORDSON-SUPER-MAJOR-TRACTOR-9525-BRITAINS-FARM-LEAD-TOY_W0QQitemZ390028213488QQihZ026QQcategoryZ70112QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262
ploughmaster
I don't think so really. It isn't easy to tell from photos, but it doesn't look like a repaint to me so, even without the box outer it appears to be as mint as you are ever likely to find. I doubt if you would find the tractor anywhere else for that money, and finding another in top condition is less likely still. If I was in need of that version of the Major, I would be happy at that price I think.
Tractorman810
340 odd quid on the converter, so maybe a buy for the avid jd fan? http://cgi.ebay.com/JOHN-DEERE-9430-2008-FARM-SHOW-GUN-METAL-1-32_W0QQitemZ320332449871QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDiecast_Vehicles?hash=item320332449871&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A3%7C294%3A50

ploughmaster
By the time you've paid shipping on top of that (its only free shipping within the US), then added the vat on the total plus shipping, plus the £8 handling fee for Royal Mail, it starts to look a bit expensive to me. (around £480) I'm sure there was one in Europe (on eBay) a couple of weeks ago that went for a lot less than that.
