Light Land
3.3mtr REXIUS twin from vaderstad seems to make a nice job of heavy land Do you plough everything every year Ricky?
MODELFARMER
Everything of ours is ploughed we are on good ground, just some of it likes 2 runs to make better seed bed, there is some type of harrow with a row of discs then 2 rows of short spikes then crumbler bars? Deere-est
Chap I know Ricky, bought a 3.5m Simba TopTilth. Tines, bars and rollers. It's not very old, in great condition and he paid silly money for it somewhere between 1 and 2k. http://www.simba.co.uk/Library/manuals/Toptilth%20Manual.pdf Pic here - http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/shaunvandenbos/category%25208-cultivation%2520equipment/S3743/S3743a.JPG&imgrefurl=http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/shaunvandenbos/category%25208-cultivation%2520equipment/S3743/S3743.htm&h=480&w=640&sz=80&hl=en&start=1&tbnid=tO7attESxlJ4GM:&tbnh=103&tbnw=137&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dtoptilth%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den
BERRY
we use a porter spring harrow for after the ploughing does the job and then a farmforce infront of the onepass \ \
sparrow legs
i used to use a mounted 3.5m simba toptilth, great machine would do what your after ricky no problem, from memory he paid about £900 for it as no one wanted the 3 p-linkage ones as they are heavey when turning ,my jd 3040 had to turn using the foot brakes
nashmach
Lemken gear Ricky How about making your own Ricky out of a number of other harrows - we are planning this at the moment - levelling board followed by 2/3 rows of spring tines and then a crumbler

Mind you that's about £150/tonne

Light Land
Do you pull if a press on the side of your plough? I'm a fan of plough press, some guys over here pull zigzag harrows behind the plough press and that makes a nice job, your land might be a bit heavy for that but you get the idea.
