warning stickers/fire extinguishers

CX820Joe

Question

Can you get ready made warning/safety stickers and other bits and pieces like fire extinguishers for combines - I want to spruce up my CX880 if I can.  I was also wondering whether to change it to a CX820 or 840 perhaps though I think that would be tricky ???

I think those stickers on the German ebay look just the part, must keep an eye out for them turning up again, thanks Jez.

On the subject of stickers - do Britains do replacement ones for their combines?  Those on my CR980 aren't good, and it looks like the ones on the CX880 I won on ebay are peeling too - oh and on my 9880i! :o

According to brochure 720/740/760/780 were the 5 walker machines, and 820/840/860/880 were 6 walker - not sure how the 8030-8090's equate though?  Shameless plug here, but if you have a look in my 'Recent travels' thread, page 3, there are some photos of a CX8070 and a CX820 and they look almost dimensionally the same to me, though they're not in the same field! :-\

Yes must be - looking at the book, the minimum overall width differs for each, 820= 3.28m, 840= 3.48m, 860= 3.68m, and 880= 3.84m, but cylinder width same on all of them - hang on, thats when they each have different traction wheel sizes.  Grain tanks vary in size, but externally hard to tell the difference  ???:-\

Some more of the stickers Jez flagged up have appeared again on ebay.de - but does anyone know if there is anywhere they can be bought from?

Ebay.de???

Past the web page into Yahoo.Babelfish and translate it.

Failing that ask if some one from FTF in germany or the netherlands can buy them for you and you pay them back???

Which in particular are you referring too Joe? The BECC decals are widely available here in shops and ebay. :)

indeed they are Tris, and the person we got them from is great to deal with, mine went missing in the post an they were prepared to send out some more, until the guy realised his mistake and the house he sent them to ;) ;)

Sorry for the delay Joe - I bet it is not only tyres that are different - I guess straw walker width may be different also ;)
