BC
Well yesterday the drum broke on the washing machine ... just sat and growled but would not turn so last night I was away window shopping for a new one at Costco. On the way home I spotted this Newholland TX 65 in action so I just had to stop off for a peak. Apologies for the photos but as you know I'm just a point and click and the lighting was not too good last night around 8pm... anyway here is what I got. Well at least the drum on this machine is working alright ;D

I know it has been wet with us too John and in fact it was almost drizzling again last night when I spotted this on my way to Westhill. I guess they are just having to make the best of a bad time. BC
Mart will love you for these pics Bill! Some nice pics in that lot, quite a new Bailey? trailer too isn't it? I'm sure he will Tris. I never looked too close at the trailer really... it was hitched to one of those Red and silver kinda tractors... you know my least favourite brand ;D I'm certainly no David Bailey but I just had to have some shots of that machine it been sitting in a field over the past week and annoying me. Quite a tidy looking machine for an R plate.

BC
Nice photos there Bill - at least someone is getting the weather Well it was offering to drizzle last night but I guess they have got to the point they can't wait any longer Colm. Saw the combine parked up in the third field as I drove to work this morning but although dry just now it was cold this morning with a heavy dew so me thinks it will be a while before they get going again today. robl12
Is there much in the way of winter Barley still to cut out your way Bill. It is mainly all down up here around huntly, turra and buckie. Seafield estates have cut all there winter rape and barley and have ploughed the fields and already drilled the rape. Spring Barley is mainly about 2 to 3 weeks off being done and wheat will be ready mid september.

Well Rob this is the first combine I have seen out working in my travels in Aberdeenshire. hope to see a few more over the next couple of weeks and preferable some older tackle ;D
robl12
Still a few older combines around saw a dominator on the rothienorman road near the aucterless turning. Most seem to have upgraded over the winter several newer New Hollands around and lots of Claas lexions and a couple toucano's around. I had a PM from JDC in Berwick who was getting stuck too.
NewHolland2
Great pics Bill......A great TX and a lovely carting tractor that lad has...... Our local TX tried to go into the balrey yesterday after that rain the previous night, got half way up his first bout and gave up, just too wet - both the crop and underfoot. :'(
