nige green
I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO MAKE A DRAWBAR CONVERSION THAT WILL HELP MAKE MORE OF A BRITAINS MARSTON TRAILER.IT SHOULD TRANSFORM THE LOOK,AND BE A FRACTION OF THE COST OF SCRATCH BUILT TRAILERS.THEY WILL BE CAST IN RESIN AND EASY TO FIT, MAKING USE OF THE ORIGINAL SHOE.THE ACTUAL CASTING WILL BE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE SHOWN AND WILL BE AVALIBLE AT SPALDING AND TOYTRAC FROM PARTS SUPPLIERS.THE TRAILERS SHOWN ARE FITTED WITH TRELLEBORG WHEELS AS SUPPIED BY FARMMODELS AND HENRI WALKER. nige green
This is the modified drawbar that can be cast easier. They will come unpainted and self fit.Simply cut the drawbar off and fit the new one into the channel and drill a 3/32 hole (marked) for the shoe to fit.The shoe's knob needs to be filed off then refitted with the original pin.You may need to file the channel as the width does vary.I recommend using a "no nails, type adhesive, fitting time less than 10 minutes.Price will be confirmed once cast.A 3/32 hole can be drilled into the pipe carrier to pass pipes through if you wish.
