muddy tracks

anyone got any ideas how i could make a muddy track i know how to make the veges but not the muddy track bit  ???   ;)

Some mud.... then some grass for the verges?

depends if you want it hard, like brown coloured gravel, like for model railways, or soft?

Soft, just use some of that matting but paint it

What about clay roled out then rune some wheels over it. Then piant it and put some gravel into it.

I made some for my display with plaster over wich you roll a pair of old wheels (you dip them in water first so that they don't stick) Once i'ts set you can paint it, add grass, gravel... You could do the same for cow marks around a drinker in the field, would look good.

Dirt??

GEt some soil and dry it out so it is like powder. Or, have a look in the drinking chocolate pot mate. That looks like soil I think.

coffee from starbucks works to, dry it out, roll the wheels through to get the pattern then spray with some model railway scenic glue to seal, not to close with the spray as it will blow the tred pattern out

I've done polyfiller in the past then run a tyre about to give the marking, then just paint it works well
