malcy_p
Prototype C1200 header seen in Germany - photos shamelessly ripped from the internet Not sure if this has been mentioned on FTF before, but worth a mention I thought. Interesting that it is only Auto Contour and not a Vario header - hence the name. How long before we see this in the UK I wonder... /malc. malcy_p
Maybe...! Also known in the States as the G540. G for grain I'm guessing, 540 for 40 ft? /m.
Jez
I expect that they may be flex heads, i.e. they flex with the ground??? Massive headers? I heard they had major problems with the split reel?
CX820Joe
Can't be far away if New Holland is also developing a 40' header for the CR range
Fendt Fahrer
Hopefully there is not to much straw ;D You will need some power and threshing capacity to keep the grain in the combine with this header.
jcb4cxkid
i bet the person who took the photos happy probly the first to do so does the header fold
nashmach
Ah this is getting to the stage of being ridiculous - I hope the combine manufacturers don't read BFF as lots on there with one large combine really struggling this year and talking about going back to
jcb4cxkid
It's on a teader trolly dont think you'd want it folding as it would stick up 6 meter plus in the air so why are the rotars split
denis086
ya its stress i would say as you can see a support going in from the back of the header to support it
