As for the 29... :P - ummm yes please... pics please :P
Thanks for the warm welcome, Lord Ferguson. I collect Britains, Siku and occasionally Universal Hobbies to make up a diorama farm.
Welcome James. An interesting mix of machinery you guys run. I take it by browsing DTs website you have a few conversions? What kind of theme do you collect your models to?
Hi Deere-est, I don't have any conversions and my theme for my models is to make up an arable farm.
An interesting mix of machinery there James - I presume you do contracting also
Nice to see pictures of your fleet and collection

Thanks nashmach, my dad drills sugarbeet for our neighbouring farms using the David Brown and a 5-row beetdrill. He sprays the sugarbeet for one of the farms.

Hiya I'm Jamesnintendo90, I'm 18 and I live in Lincolnshire, England. My dad has a farm which we grow barley, corn and sugarbeet on probably 45 acres. We have 3 tractors from new, a 2002 '02' McCormick MC90 with Quicke 430 loader, a 2008 '57' Claas Celtis 446 RX and a 1976 'R' David Brown 885. We also have a 1987 'E' Massey Ferguson 29 combine harvester and a 1970 'J' David Brown 780 mounted on a Standen Cyclone sugarbeet harvester. The harvesters were bought secondhand. I first came upon this forum last week whilst looking on Towse Trading website (www.britainstoyfarm.co.uk). I joined the forum last sunday.

I bought a MF6290 5 years ago and the paint on the bonnet flakes off. That isn't the only model that has happened, I also bought a Transit van before the tractor and the black bumper paint did the same!
