  1. Hello, I run a website called Ben's Agri Photos (www.bensagriphotos.co.uk), where I display my farming photos and videos from South Yorkshire and North Notts regions of the UK. I also take photos in North Lincolnshire and Sometimes Norfolk. I have decided to put a few pictures from each set i take onto this website to give people a preview of what i do, then if you like them, you can view more of the photos on my site. I Know it's a bit late into the year so i have strated the thread off with some older photos.

Any comments or questions etc are welcome :)

  2. I just can't help but think it, i have never been interested in the grass land side of farming, to be honest, it just doesn't interest me, some people find it amazing, maybe because its a fast operation most of the time. Maybe I don't like it because there isn't a lot of that around here, but that's just my choice.

There are lots of fantastic slurry tankers, silage trailers etc but what about the vegetable equipment? There has to be a market for it?!?

I can't be the only person who thinks this! Why aren't you talented model builders putting your work to producing de-stoners, potato planters, ridgers, bed - tillers and even salad planters etc. I know there are some on the market but there aren't as many of these as there are silage equipment model builders. There are loads of makes out there, Grimme, Reekie, Standen pearson, Jones engineering just to name a few, so why does no one bother building them?

Is it just me? what do you think?...

  3. Hello all,  I just had a look on a newish website called "bensagriphotos" and amongst many fab pictures all makes of tractors was a brand new 2010 MF6499(non vario version 7499) with same narrow mudguards on it as UH model and grey chassis and surprisingly wide tyres :of  either way the pix of it are superb and certainly food for the convo gang :)  take a peek.

Perhaps admin could provide a link?

Thanks  ;D  The 6499 was certainly a nice machine, and it's made me want to get the UH model. Your not the first person to mention the narrow mud guards, i'm going to have to ask about it  ;)

  4. Probably nothing to you but i am wanting to change some wheels on a JD 6930 and i have not done this before so i was wondering if you would be able to let me know how to remove the wheels?

Also, what paint do i need and how do i paint the inner part of the wheel?

    thanks

    Ben
