  1. Heat is the main problem with storing the models.Top tip that i do with my models is i get some kitchen towels and put the towel around the model and put back in the box and this seems to stop the heat from reacting with the model. Also models that go inside the inserts of boxes put kitchen towels inside the insert and put your model back in and this seems to stop the model from reacting to the plastic insert.Hope this helps,Cheers Shaun. :)

I have been helping my mates at BARKING ENGINEERING we had to fit a liner inside a chimney then fit a double sided wood burner so it would heat both the bar and dining area .Working in a pub for two days was great  fun cherry picker outside to reach top of chimney was not so good as it was raining and bit windy

Forget the work Smithy i bet you was on the ale? :)

  3. One of my mates turned up at the house in his 1993 VW Golf car that he bought brand new.He was laughing his head off at something so i asked him what was making him so happy besides Christmas and he said that he has just made his last payment on his car and that it is finally his!!!!!!!!! Its only taken him 10 years to buy this car ;) He only brings this car out on sunny days or in summer and it has only done 32,000 miles from new.Made us all laugh as the interest on the money he borrowed over 10 years you could have bought another one.

    Sorry 2003 model not 1993. :)

Sean,I dont collect these models but they came with a collection of Britains from a guy who wanted to get rid of the whole collection as he was moving to New Zealand.Like i say i might sell them or do a display with them.Would they fit on the Britains tractors ok with being a 1.32 scale? To nice of models to take out of the box but they are not Britains.

  6. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141136547906?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Does this Industrial DDN look like a respray to anyone? I think it's original (it had better be at that price!)

It looks to good to be an original for the age but you never know.A little concerned that the spade and the clips are missing for that sort of money.A very rare and sort after model. You have just got to be very careful these days with all these conversions and re-sprays about.

  7. It is a very nice model David, very big as well, but funnily enough,it's a bit lighter in weight than the tracked 875,??as promised more photo's,

The towing pin is a bit on the big side though,

And this was the big stumbleing block when it came to converting an 875 into a 975,the 875 door was a "suicide" door,(front opening)

And the 975 was conventional ( rear opening)

But I now have the perfect tool for hauling my huge 12 meter Agrisem Disc o Mulch,

    Regards

    Joe.
