  2. Review For The Wiking Claas Axion 960 Scale 1:32 Limited Edition 1000 Pieces

Wiking make superb replica models, and the Claas Axion is no exception; this model is weathered,  which has added character to it; the detail around the front of the tractor is excellent with well detailed front linkage with top link, the hydraulic spools are moulded in and touches of paint to enhance them, the PTO guard is in yellow. The front axel has a good amount of pivot, and the steering lock is very good too. Also, the tyres are made of soft material. A front weight block is supplied with the tractor.

The front of the bonnet is a see-through mesh material, so parts of the front of the engine can be seen; the bonnet also raises up to show more detail in this department. All the decals are clear and bright. The operator's cab detail inside and out is great with twin seats and all the different control to represent the real tractor, mirrors either side fold in, and the left cab door opens, there is well-detailed steps up to the cab with a small area of catwalk over the track. Twin beacons are fitted on either side of the roof.

The terra trac system is fitted with a larger diameter rear drive roller. Both tracks pivot independently. The rear linkage, like the front, has excellent detail, but to raise and lower the review model was a little stiff, so I left it in the position it came in. The drawbar is fitted with a pin that will allow fitting a piece of towed machinery to it, and also  the drawbar will slide up or down too.

Review comments: A very realistic tractor and its limited edition will be in high demand for all collectors to get their hands on. Wikings team should be proud of this model they have created.

  3. Rolland Trailers, Collect – World 1:32 Scale

All the review Rolland trailers, paint finish, is very good with bright clear decals fitted, the three trailers two of which are general-purpose one with extension high sides both have opening twin doors at the rear for crop discharge.

All The trailer drawbars are fitted with a good-sized pick-up ring and a swing-over stand when the trailers are not in use. A hand brake lever adds to the trailer's underside detail through to the detailed tandem axles on all the different variants. Universal Hobbies have added a lot of detail throughout with hydraulic pipes fitted and a three-stage hydraulic tipping ram with another option of a stand fitted to rest the raised trailer for underside maintenance to be carried out. It is ideal if you are building a diorama in a workshop with a fitter underneath it doing work on it. Add a service van at the side with doors open and kitted out with toolboxes ( Food for thought ). At the rear, the taillights are fitted with guards over them.

All the trailers, including the bale trailer, look to have the same chassis but a very good range of trailers never the less.

Review comments: All the trailers have excellent detail; well done Universal Hobbies on Rolland's good range of trailers.

  4. Siku Control Claas Xerion 5000, 100 Years Sieper 1:32 scale Radio Control, App Controlled.
I would liked to have powered this model Claas Xerion 5000 up into action; however, I will leave that to it,s new owner to play with, plus the fact my old phone does not do apps. The battery,s fits under the bonnet double-A. This is a very heavy model, more so when you fit the extra duel wheels to it, these are a magnetic fit so easy to fit in place. The all-black colour with the red logo on the cab roof makes the tractor stand out from the crowd; headlights all around the tractor will light up to show you the way on your layout at night or around the kitchen table. It even comes with a driver fitted in the cosy cab. A catch underneath the front end can easily change the front weight block for a front linkage. I tried on the Review model to see if the cab will go into the reverse position, it will lift up, but I think the powered-up App does this on your phone. The linkage on the rear is the standard SIKU linkage. There is good tread on all tyres, so put the remote Siku plough behind it, and you can start turning the soil over for winter.
Review Comments, Sturdy-built play tractor for young and old carpet farmers, so hopefully, there may be one in Santa's sack for you to enjoy on Christmas day so make sure you have plenty of double-As on stock.

  5. Once again, Marge Models have done an excellent model of the Claas 990 Jaguar harvester in both Terra Trac and the wheeled versions, The Maize header comes with both of the Jaguars, with the pickup reel being an option, so this will be at extra cost. Both types are easily fitted on either machine, and they just slip over lugs on the intake. The only real difference between the two is the Terra Trac or wheel version. The paint scheme has a high gloss finish to it. A little surprised that none of the side panels open to reveal the engine components, but the top panels are wire mesh which are see-through. The operator's cab has a high amount of detail both inside and out, but I could not find a way into the cab to fit an operator into the cab, But these models will be put straight in a glass cabinet for most collectors. I do not think anyone will wheather or but this onto a diorama. The discharge chute for the crop will lift and rotate from side to side.

The maize header unfolds in two stages. It is highly detailed even on the underside, depth wheels are fitted on the rear. Plus, all the cutting crop discs rotate, which is a nice touch. The Pickup reel option again has plenty of detail with side depth wheels, and the front intake top guard will raise and lower.

The Terra Trac is the same as on all the Claas machines, with good detail on the track frames and well-med rubber tracks. The rear wheels have a small amount of lock from side to side

Review Comments, An excellent model and will be a must for all the collectors of this iconic farm machinery brand. Well done, Marge Models.

  6. The model review for the
Replicagri International 1056XL 1:32 scale Limited Edition.
This Replicagri Model comes with extras to add on to make this a great little model of the International range of tractors. Extras include Pair of cage wheels, a tractor driver in the seated position, a rear linkage top link, and cross drawbar plus drawbar pin.
The paintwork throughout the tractor is outstanding, but with a satin-type finish, all the decals are clear and well placed, the engine detail on both sides is very good, and the bonnet raises to show more detail in this department. The front axle has some pivot and a small amount of steering lock from side to side, and the detail includes the steering hydraulic ram. Also, the underside shows the front diff and driveshaft detail. The front and rear wheels are very well cast, and the tyres all around are well molded.
The detail inside and out of the cab is excellent, with plenty of control on display, and even an inside rearview mirror as well as the outside Pair of mirrors. Plus, both doors open to place the driver into the cab on the deluxe seat. The cab is superbly cast with a clear wrap-around rear window, and all the rest of the windows have very clear glazing.
The rear of the tractor again is well cast, showing the hydraulic spool valves in detail, and there is a little movement up and down on the link arms on the review tractor. Have I mentioned earlier, there is the option of the cross drawbar, and top link, the only drawback for the UK is the higher drawbar that they use on the continent, which we do not.
    Review Comments
This Replicagri International model is right up there with the best, Well done Replicagri you have a great team, keep up the excellent work.

I can't decide...I thought the rights would go to Marge following the Lexions but Wiking is a German firm...and they haven't released a new combine for some years so about time they did...though heard rumours they were doing a John Deere X9.

We'll find out for definite eventually

Yes you are right about the the John Deere Combine X9 1100 rumours i was told that rumour as well. I may not be right but i would still stick by and say that all Claas combines will be made by Marge
