The owner of the Terra Gator treats them like ****!
It's difficult for me to explain how we do it. In don't really know how to use the right words.
We push the peat in one long row with 2 five meter blades (Komatsu D41P, 2x), 5 meters is about 15 ft I think. After that, we use the trailers to move the peat to one central point. Of course we also cultivate the peat.
But we have to do a lot more then that of course, but i don't really know how to explane, sorry!

The terra gators are bad machines...We hire them, sometimes. It's cheaper to hire them. The man ho owns the Gators doesn't ask a lot of money.
I went to New Zeeland 4 weeks ago, but we couldn't find any peat! I really look forward to see your pictures.
I would really like to take a look in Canada, they do a lot of peat harvesting over there. Most people use machines which are to heavy for peat harvesting. That's a shame.

Thanks Doc, I think I will be the next owner. I really want to continue my dad's work. My dad has his peat in Germany, but he has only got peat for 6 years now. After that? we don't know yet. Maybe we can go to Canada, there is a lot of peat in Canada.
I really love the Ford 8210's, and the trailers. The trailers are self-built trailers.

Hi,
I'm new here. My name is Remi, I'm from Holland.
My dad has a peat company. Peat is rather unknown in Holland, it's rare.
We have a small company. 2 employers (dad and his brother), 1 employee.
We have got 21 machines.
6 tractors (Deutz D25, Ford 3910, NH TS115, 3 x Ford 8210)
5 excavators (Atlas 1302D, Atlas 1622DLC, 2 x Atlas 1604LC, Doosan 225LCV)
4 machines to transport peat into a truck, no brand
3 bulldozers: Cat D4D, 2 x Komatsu D41P
1 Track type tractor: Famo, which is from 1937 (!!!).
1 Linde H25
1 Machine to clean our company
Here one of our Fords, a 8210 gen 1.
We have never repainted it, just like our Ford 8210 gen 2's. We wash and wax them a lot.

We can only work with the tractors ford 6 months a year, afther that, we clean and wax the machines we don't use anymore. Here you can see a few pictures of Ford 8210's with the trailers @work, the newest Komatsu D41P and Ford 8210's after I cleaned them.
