Howdy From Connecticut!

Hi Everyone!

My name is Eric and I just found this forum last night because I wanted to find out if there were any forums for toy tractors, and sure enough this forum popped up on a Google search so I decided to join.

I'm 21 years old and I am from Berlin CT and live by 5 farms. I been into real garden and farm tractors for a long time because of my granpa. In fact I own 2 yellow lawn tractors made by Roper for Sears, they are 1967 Craftsmans which explains my username. My username is also because I am on multiple tractor forums and that is my username. I also loved classic cars, but especially Chrysler Corporation cars (or Mopars) from an early age and still do today.

I just started getting into collecting toy 1:16 scale Ertl tractors this year since I entered 2 I have, in my own display at my local fair and won 2nd place. My first toy Ertl tractor was from my stepdad who had an IH Farmall that he no longer wanted from when he was a kid and gave it to me, he then bought me a JD model A G.P. as a gift.

Just an early FYI, that I may not be posting on here that much because I am on so many forums, and I don't really have a "collection" yet so to speak but I'm starting to get one.

Thank you for having me and have a good rest of your night!

Hi Eric and welcome to the forum. You’ll probably find that the model and toy tractors here in the UK are a lot different than what you have over there and you will be spoiled for choice, some you have may be familiar to you but the makes and models are very diverse, some of us are pretty random in what we collect and others specialise in one make. Anyway, enjoy and we look forward to your posts on the forum.
