Ziko
Finally another update from me! Prepping the land for planting potatoes. Planting the potatoes with the 6600 with duals. First year we do this we normally just used the 2650 without duals. Works like a charm with the powerharrow in front. 7720 with the potatoes. Filling up. Ziko
Thanks guys appreciate your comments. @Erik, yeah we´re very close to being done. @Thanks Tris, yeah the weather is great at the moment. @My father yes, but my boss hasn´t. @JDC, yeah it differs quite a bit from how you guys do it. The soil on this field is very good indeed, but we also have some fields that are much heavier clay and those aren´t so great...

Niels
More sandy soil from the Netherlands!! Looks like great potato goring soil. Does it dry out badly though or do you irrigate? Think it is one of the heaviest clay soil you can find over here. Just the structure is great after a strong winter.
Ziko
@Niels, no that's not possible. We would need RTK GPS to do that. The system we're using right now isn't accurate enough. @CMB, these are to follow the tram lines the potato planter left behind so you can get the potoes right in the middle of the ridges. @Tris, it is actually as Niels said not sand it's heavy sea clay. But we had a good winter which worked out well for the structure of the soil. So we haven't got any problems with too little water, only with too much water sometimes.
