    Model Tractor 2012 Autumn Show
The second of this year’s Model Tractor and literature shows will take place on Sunday 7th October. Billed as the Tractor 2012 Autumn Show, the event will feature a small display of full-size tractors and again a limited-edition show model will be on sale during the event - the model is still to be decided.

The Spalding show is recognised as the largest gathering of its type for farm toy enthusiasts in Britain, regularly attracting collectors and dealers from across the UK and Europe. Expect to find a wide selection of obsolete toy tractors on offer, as well as the latest model releases. There will also be plenty to search for on the many stalls selling literature, books, and ephemera. Many of the leading vintage tractor clubs will also be in attendance. There is an increasing amount of interest in dioramas and there should be several on display.

Most model makers use the show at Spalding as a platform to release new models. Show visitors are able to use this opportunity to their advantage to purchase models previously unobtainable. Also usually seen at Spalding are older and unique models not usually seen at the average toy fair.

The show will be held at the usual venue: the Springfields Exhibition Centre (just off the A16 bypass), Spalding, Lincolnshire. The centre offers excellent bar and restaurant facilities and there is ample car parking. Springfield’s new Festival Garden shopping outlet will be an added attraction, especially for those members of the family not interested in tractors!
