I have a few 1/50th, But stopped buying them in about 2006 as they were getting too expensive, One of my favourites was the model of the Demag H485 520 ton Hydraulic excavator which at the time was the biggest excavator in the World, and worked just 30 miles from me at an opencast mine which is now the site of The Falkirk Wheel,

    Regards

    Joe.

  3. Recently treated myself to an early birthday present. A fantastic G&M farm models ferguson TEF20, excellent model and a very good representation of the real deal   and to be honest it wasn't even that pricey for what it is.      Thought I'd stick in a fue other pics from the display cabinet   bought the crane fairly recently aswell it's a WSI model  it's on another level of detail .

Looking very good Callum, like you say get the background scenery sorted and it will be spot on

Yes I'll definitely sort it out. All a learning curve.   Hopefully once I get the full yard down and get some more bits and bobs about the place it will look good

  5. I've made a bit of progress on my britains farm today.   It's going to be a farm with only britains models. I think I've got a decent enough range of bits from most eras to make the farm fairly interesting.  It's not going to be high detailed or anything wild, just a nice bit to look at and take pics of britains bits on.

First of all it's in an absolute Mare of a spot.  Getting the background sky stuck on was a pig.  I started with double sided tape, horrendous idea haha the stuff I used was very strong so once it was on it was on for good!   Today I used spray glue and it worked a treat  stuck on nice and smoothed out very well.  Then had ran out off the standard scenic paper and moved onto a roll of premium stuff that has its own adhesive backing. Everything went on lovely   then started folding back after 20mins  so I popped a bit of spray glue on and that held it, but one bit could do with being pulled of and started again It's in such a bad way.    Anyway I hope to add a bit more detail and get some straw in on the shed floors etc.   I've also the dairy and pig section to do.   Hope you enjoy these fue pics

I'm sure they will run the 6910, 6900, 6800 soon too

Hopefully they do a run of 4 and 6 cylinder 10 series

She is described as Girl with Bucket cat no 2039, new addition in 1970 under title of Farm Children, but it would appear your figure is missing the base with the Bucket on.

  10. Some pictures from around the model room.    It's gotten very crowded.  I'd love some more room to get things laid out better. There's boxes of loose britains aswell  that I'd much rather were out on display  but it's just not possible
