The gold 1174 is based on a real tractor.

Better still if they did a black 50,000 edition one!

There is sometimes no rhyme or reason with ebay. 4 determined bidders and someone prepared to pay over the odds. Nice purchase though!

Another nice conversion. I could never find a good colour match for the uh for. What paint do you use as the colour looks really good in the photos

A final picture of the JD hooked up to a Reco 40 and the real thing, my brothers 6170R chopping a very late late first cut in July at home.

HI I used Halfords white plastic primer spray as a base coat. I had a JD yellow spray can but I ended up air brushing it on as it came out far too fast and thick from the can.

This is the first time I have had a go at a Siku John Deere. I was surprised how much better it looks when you put JD yellow on the wheels. Still to finish the cab interior . Modified pma front linkage added http://i1213.photobucket.com/albums/cc477/iainh1973/DumfriesandGalloway-20121029-00429.jpg]http://

Looking back at your photos I notice your 3 waggenhoff 1455s, very nice!. So much better than the schuco ones. I only managed to get ahold of the international one before they vanished.

I think the rims are cast as on piece with both tyres then put on. The didnt want to budge on my one and no obvious join.

Picked up a couple of jd 6210r form my local dealer today. Will measure it up tonight to see if I can mate it with a wiking 6930.

I hoped that britains would bring out a new buckrake not just a re-issue, so I have had a go at an old tine-less one I had. After a bit of head scratching to get the geometry right I have a functional buckrake.">http://
