Sure I could sort that for you if you were a bit closer. Makes a change doing those sprayers to the normal boom type ones.

The owner has been promising to pay for two of us to do this course for the last 2 years now (amongst other courses), but nothing has materialised as per usual. otherwise id take up the offer if I could afford it. im keeping money aside for my telehandler renewal which I think will be more useful generally.

Nothing too exciting been happening so far this year, I've only done 5 days of farm work all year as the training side of my business has really taken off since Christmas when I took on the Pesticide training for two other groups and then work for another two in the past few weeks meaning I now carry out training for 7 independent training groups across the East of England.

Just a few pictures from the past few weeks telehandler training. JCB 550-80 and Claas Scorpion 7040 on which I have done refresher training for one of our members.

I've started carrying out training for the NPTC Pa3 orchard sprayer assessments as well so getting to see a few different machines with this one. We don't do many a year though so not common still.

Pa3 would be useful to have as I use air assist sprayers at the vineyard

  4. My "beloved" cousin suggested I bought a Woodcraft kit and I have spent several days deciphering the instructions. Today, having realised there is a small flaw in the instructions, I have been assembling the thing and it has taken me most of the day at that.  All the swearing and sore thumbs was worth it as it looks the business.  All I have to do now is apply a coat of thinned pva and stick it together.

Oh yes - I have to stick the eyes in place too

I can remember kits like these, at least a similar version for children.Mine were dinosaur skeletons and I recall having enormous trouble getting the wooden parts to slot together as instructed (I was about 7 or 8 at the time). I don't think mine were glued together though.

  5. It took me about 6 weeks to pack mine but it has taken even longer for me to unpack - over 12 months and 70% is still waiting for a home.  My cows are being patient - I haven't checked the bulls but they are going to be a handful when they are finally let out!

    Good luck with the move

Thanks Sue, I really don't know how much of my collection will see the light of day in the new flat yet as I haven't measured the space, but I've packed 20 large (30cm/45cm) boxes in a similar time period. Not got a huge amount of figures and animals and they don't take up much room, so they may be first to be released!
