hi all
Tommy and i would love to thank every one who came the the show. Whether you were selling or displaying your pride and joy of models, or made the long trip down or up to the show. It was great to be able to finely put faces to the names we all talk to through here every day. I hope every one enjoyed the show over the two days. On a personal level i like to say sorry to everyone that i was not able to be there on the saturday or most of sunday to meet and greet you and help with the setting up as i had planned. Most of you know i had a family emergency on saturday so i had to go, all is ok / well now and i thank you one and all for all the best wishes. I did not get a chance to take any photos so i am really hoping some one can put some of theres up here today [img alt=]http://www.moiramodelclub.co.uk/forum/Smileys/default/wink.gif. I hope every got home safely. So now i may sit down and have a think about the next one [img alt=]http://www.moiramodelclub.co.uk/forum/Smileys/default/grin.gif.. If any one has any ideas to help make the show better please let me know.. [img alt=]http://www.moiramodelclub.co.uk/forum/Smileys/default/wink.gif I know there were some theating problems but you learn from your experiences, and these will be sorted out for the next show.
Again thank you all for making this show a great day out for all

well i went down to meet the contractor this after noon, .
he said he wanted to talk
here is a picture of what happened
well as you can see when i had him on the ground he was not getting up..
one of his labourers call the guards and i spent the evening the the cell. :police: :police:
will be up in court next week ( most learn to keep my head ), how do i plead this one? ..
do i say he was trying to ride me with out the saddle :P
may go explain to linda where i was for the evening and why i was not answering my phone ( I'm in more trouble )
-
i got the drains finished and i put a few man hole covers in
here is a few pictures
-
hi Jason
love the storyline mate it keeps us all intrested what have you used for the storm drain pipes? and also what ratio did you use for your concrete as i want to do the same for my layout eventually but I'm going to make sure i employ a contractor that knows about drainage
hi nick glad your enjoying it
the storm pipes are just drinking straw's.
the concrete is just tile grout a bit of pva glue and some water ratio i dont know i just made it up as i went along
must start a new topic for a name and shame of bad contractors :P ;D
