i seen this in the farmers journal today and taught i'd share it with you all.
this is beening built by a irish company called jac-a-box ltd and they are based in co. fermanagh
first the tractor unit can be used as a normal tractor unit.
or you can fit a flat bed platform onto the tractor unit for the transport of goods or machinery,
or you can fit the the livestoct box on the the flatbed platform. it can also be fitted with a split level deck.
2.
the tractor unit can also be fitted with a drawbar so a trailer can be towed
it has a payload of 15 tonnes and a price tag of 10,000 euro or 9,000pounds

thats ashame rob, that head teacher deserves a clap round the head for that, hope your son forgets about that experience
that is not nice to hear that, and the problem is that childs parents dont give a sh*te what there child does,( sure it will toughen them up) bull that you hear them say, it makes me sick.
i see it 4 nights a week while working on the door, starting at about 11 at night and still hanging around at 3 in the morning the abuse and behavour of the kids is un real now i am talking about kids of about 12 to 16 yrs of age, smoking, shouting abuse at people, starting fights, and one night lately they even brought a staff type dog up to us and treatened so set it on us. they are too young for the gaurds to do any thing with and they are not afaird or nor do they hve any respect for them, but my question is where are the parents and where do the parents think they are. sorry for ranting on it just sickens me to have to see and lissen to them every night,

hi lads,
i have just put up a 8 by 8 foot bench in the shed for a display for home and shows , i plan on doing a modern beef and tillage farm
the problem i have is ,i have not worked on a farm in 20 yrs, so i don't know what is the best way to do it.
i need to know is :
what type of sheds people are using in modern beef farming? ie: slats or straw bed
what is the best system to use? ie: feeding barriers or what
these are probably not the right questions to ask but i can not start as i need info to set out the farm yard, and at the moment i am lost
any help would be great
thank you jason
