I am thinking of stripping down My UH fendt 818 for a bit of super detailing, painting and weathering. Any hints and tips on how to take it apartand take wheels off etc. any help would be great as it would save me breaking it by mistake \.

Have a look into the world of train sets, those guys do loads of this sorta thing.I have had a go, built a layout for a member of the family. The bandage covered in plaster is great stuff, if you want to build large landscape start with crushed up newspaper, wood, or wire etc to get the hight and basic shape, then get going with the bandage, there is no limit to what you can do in a short time, it drys fast then just get painting or what ever you have in mind.

Right bit of a change of plan, thought it all looked a bit to unused, so got the weathering sets out and a little dry brushing and a bit of redoxide over welded patches for a used look sorta thing. few pics of what I had time to do,1st is just painted 2nd is with a little weathering applied. if the weather is bad tmro I hope to get a lot more done.

Hi all
First time on here, but seeing what you are all up to I thought I would have a go,bought a Siku Kuhn flail thought this would be good to start with as it's not to big and errr well not to costly if all goes wrong . any way been in the shed having a play, thought I would post a few pics to see what you think, When finished the plan is to have the pto shaft and hydrolic pipes connected up to the tractor
Oh and yes it was 1am when I posted this, thats my excuse for posting it here and not in the impliment section

It's not just the front linkage now, I am new to this hobby thus took my first hard look at a siku tractor yesterday in the local shop and the new ones have a Knob stuck out of the cab roof and a shaft going through the cab! for stearing, great for play when we are cultivating the living room carpet (oh or is that just me ) but for realism its a nightmare!! and as for conversions......
