  1. im not sure if they are but i found this pic of crystal tractors on the net . sending the parts away on mon to be cast. but having bother finding a chasis for these. found
  2. hope to add some detail to the cab and thats right same cab of ursus model and other zeters
  3. a few more of the hitch its a real pity these models are so hard to buy as they are a really good scale to work with
  4. some pics of cutting out the hitch. used a ford 5000 for this one as it is a lot easyer to cut out than the jd
  5. after haveing done the 2wd i now want a 4wd for my collection heres the progress to date. front wheels from a fiat 9090 and the tyres of a 362 massey. the massey tyre a little bit narrower. also with a little fileing them fitted straight on the origional axle
  6. a little more progress i am trying to get a chassis to suit this one is only an experament. and also the bonnet is to long but i made the bonnet long for a reason it will also suit 6 cylinder model in the future.
  7. looks really good mate you did a fantastic job but would much prefere to have the origional wheels . but its your model and you did a nice job

  9. dont have a picture of what i cut of the back of the ih but it wasnt a lot just cut it of level with tank as far as the axle. but there was a hell of a lot of cutting to get the hitch out of the john d. was thinking more of a front axle out of a britains fiat 9090 but i think the tyres might be to high but the wheel looks close
  10. going to have a go at a 4wd lo profile next if i can get front wheels to suit or match the back
  11. back wheels in the end were mf 2680 centre cut with ford 5000 tyres
  12. now have the 785 all finished up really a lot of work but worth the pain

  14. yes but prices would have went up from 1970 to 1979. and yes went i get it cast i can build either 2 or 4 wd in zeter or ursus 4 cilender
  15. no dout about that zeter were making the crystal when massey was making the 135in 1978 my uncle bought a new zeter crystal and rotary spreader £5800.00. the massey135 which our neighbour bought the same year was £5600.00
  16. well done mate a real good job likeing the inside of cab. what chassis did you build it on
  17. just some of the parts getting cast for this model plan to build it on a uh zetor chassis
  18. might have to do that yet but i am trying a set of wheels i got from scaledown the 16.9/30 size and the centre might be able to be played with to look like the 785 centre although thr internationals had some different centres. they might be a little smaller than the ford wheels
  19. thanks will get some pics up tomorrow of my plans for my zetor crystal as i have to send them away to get casting details
  20. getting the doors and sunroof cut out was pain i had to use a fret with metal blade it was the only tool with a tiny blade
  21. ther realy is a lot of work and a lot of cutting with this model
  22. with brian doing an international 784 he has inspired me to copy my own 785. and being an international nut heres my progress so far
