am liking this a lot mate thAT CAB LOOKS A LOT BETTER now its lowered.

it will still work but if only a smallbit is meeting in the joint then it wont be verystrong best to square the bit of with chemical metal its like isopon only sets as metal would need to see a pic of what you realy mean

i use mitre fast mate and then fill both halfs with chemical metal for a really strong job

some nice tractors there mate im a big international case fanatic myself use a lot of them on our farm.

no its not mate my neighbour did this conversion last month and it was a very easy marrige i must admit. if you get all the little extras such as linkages makes the whole job more easy.

the only thing i dont like about the britains 6600 and 7600 is the front weights would look far better like thr old 5000 they did

i lowered the whole floorpan paul had to grind away part of the top of the gear box and lift top area to let it down but well worth doing it now lets the front of the cab sit down to the bonnet. when i built the 4000 with ap cab for my neighbour i didnt have this problem because the nose cone on the 4000 was shorter and to do this conversion on the real tractor you have to rise the nose cone by 3 inches to rise the bonnet up to its prober position and my neighbour didnt bother doing this.

wasnt happy with the hight of the cab so stripped it all back a lowered the cab another 8ml and looks a lot better have got some paint on it now so will post up picks later

ya pete it was a nice simple cab enough room inside but not to big have wanted a nmodel of one for ages so decided to build it myself
