  1. neighbour has started on maize new 16t trailer smaller 14t
  2. handled back at yard by mcormick
  3. baled with the 6265 and welgar baler
  4. made the last bit of silage over the weekend
  5. i don't think unreliable just not suited to uk conditions was designed for dry silage not wet 1st cut it still chops with a drum then gets tranposted across the machince by auger then blown up spout by flywheel think also power hungry!
  6. you can borrow any of my stuff if you clean it like the spreader!
  7. looks like it went ok even with my heath robinson ratchet strap! drop it back when ever you want and feel free to leave your tractor out there if you want!

  9. don't think the old db would lift the trailer when loaded i seem to remember asking years ago why there was a gate in a certain place and being told that was a gate for the db a silage trailer when it came down the hill so it didn't have to stop and could go straight into the next field!

  11. not really as i was passing but was chatting to marcus about my mf 200 forager and said i'm sure i have some photos of when we had one brand new

  13. the baler made £900ish the drill not sure a well worn mf 24 made £100 should have bought it really but was over at minehead so i didn't as all lots had to be cleared by 4 pm the next day and as i had to work the next day i didn't really have enough time

  16. well that would explain the tractor but still well out of the area as he's from somerset!must have some straw bought over oxfordshire/berkshire area!
  17. i'm sure the fendt is from a local contractor to me! but the countryside doesn't look familiar to me !
  18. i'd go with the mcconnel as always look at the old second hand market always see old mconnels making good money and you'll always see old mcconnels still working also so i'd stick with the mcconnel please post some pictures when it arrives !gav maybe right i have heard good things about the shelbourne trimmers
  19. could of been nasty if he hadn't noticed and would of been a lot of hard work when its sat on the floor loaded with no drawbar at all

  23. only you could find a massey stuck in a ditch and then rescue it!
  24. that i have to say is one of the best videos i have seen!i saw you fiddling with the camera and thought if i go fast enough i can overtake you so thanks for that!
