Ah now thats a bit harsh, you don't just randomly stop on a road with something behind you
It sounds like he has lots of experience not like his first time on roads
More
Those black blues are all off this boy
This heifer had a bad foot and then when we calved her down her calf has now both back legs not in the right shape \
I know they might be in trailer long enough ;D
I would like to buy stock for places like Carlisle though
There good stock, pictures don't do them justice
Lucky you, could you get a few of some of the batches of stock aswell
I know I don't get much homework but i'd still rather be on farm , it feels like the whole day to me
My heifer is a real grey dark blue colour with white around her hooves
0185
BB bull
Another few I found,
Pedigree charolais i must look for her papers and then I can say what her dam and sire would be and grandparents,
This is 0185 , the charolais that is so hard to put in calf, we put the new bull on her and two ai straws and shes still not in calf when we scanned her
it won't be much trouble to get a few tomorrow or Thursday? not sure how dark it will be and how much homework
He has a serious back end and very well built calf all over
Our work never ends
Some heifers that are all in calf to a pedigree limousin bull that we sold, wish we still had him he threw great calves , I must get photos of him some time
These cows calves were sold about 2 months ago
A few more,
Heres one of my heifers dam,
Shes a good bag on her but its time for her to be weaned off
Some of the calves that will be sold in next few weeks
I know too well, when my uncle stopped, I remember when i was only five, bringing freisans out to grass after milking
I hope none go, but he annoyed me when he said it. Our neighbour is down with tb
I know Pat, but you see I asked him if we could buy a pedigree heifer then he said no, we'll have to start selling off stock :'(
I hope it doesn't get to that
A few pictures, We are thinking about selling one of our pedigree charolais cows that is empty this year and has been a few times \
I'm not happy, she is a good animal.
The charolais, 8 females, one male , and 6 females pedigree and pedigree bull
These cattle were brought home for herd test tomorrow
The stock
Yes I suppose so Tris, but you see when a heavily in calf animal comes into the ring and saying shes about to calve in next few weeks puts up the starting bid by a fair bit and also when they claim its in-calf to a pedigree ai easy calving bull
The calf is keeping well, I wasn't sure if he was standing up yet, but a few days ago I saw him up, I must take a photo of him and me blue
We had a herd test in our second herd , I hope it went well, wasn't there was in school
Yes sorry I'm not very tuned in We buy and sell , we sell our weaned calves , usually which are the bulls or bad heifers.
Our last buys were two pedigree limousin heifers, one has calved 3 days ago, to a pure bred bull calf and the other is heavily in-calf.
we will be going to a pedigree sale in Carrick on Shannon where I hope to buy a Ped Charolais heifer, or maybe two
What do you mean mate?
Its nearly all continentals down our way, except a few dairy farms, its what were good at
Even my family , like my grandad has sold that many pedigree bulls to farmers he would be known as a good farmer, one time when he was starting out, he had 3 or 4 herefords and some lads from Sweden came over and bought all off him And as he says everytime he tells the story, he always says, those Swedish men only bought the best
