I got those 2 fields finished off late last night I added some trees and some post and rail fencing (which was very monotonous to do )
I'm still in two minds about the road and whether to change the colour as it looks a bit bright at times
Anyway here's the pictures.........

Me and dad where fertilising yesterday and put about 800kg of nitrogen on about 3 acres by accident. will have a forest soon.
Plenty of trailers will sort that out
likeing the inclines on the lane, more interesting than having big flat areas.
Cheers Fenside,I'm undecided about the road colour yet,I might change it if it doesn't grow on me
grass is lush chris
Cheers Paul,I'm very happy with it

I guess the rain has helped too

Mercedes Vito Yes from German eBay along with a VW Golf

You've used some good fertiliser on that field
Absolutely Barry This is what it was like a few weeks ago

Class what did you use for those last pictures as grass ? were you at the ploughing in Carrigallen a few months ago?
I didn't make it this year, was there any Tractor Pulling this year?
You must be chuffed to bits with the long grass, Chris - amazingly effective (it's not real is it?).
Absolutely delighted with it.I got it off a man that does artificial lawns,it's as close to real grass as I've ever seen.

After finally getting a bit of growth in the last week or so,the farmer goes to the fields to see if it's far off cutting...

Coming along nicely,I love the little bits you've added around the yard, like small patches of grass and hedge growth, this is something that is seriously lacking around my yard and I'm going to have to get back to it at some stage once I'm finished in the fields
-
Thanks Tris, purchasing of models is almost complete (if I got a pound for every time I said that )
I'm in the process of adding 2 new fields and a hilly lane and I hope to have them complete before the silage starts,I'm about half way at the moment.

CP Agri
in Model Farms & Layouts
Posted
Cheers Pete,
The boss got a phonecall to say the first cut is ready in the next few days so he summons the drivers in to get the tractors and trailers ready.......
The lads arrive, eager for another season at the grass.
One of the drivers informs the farm manager that diesel needs to be ordered....
