I have been meaning to post my collection up for some time now but i've never acctually got round to doing it so over the following few weeks i will gradually post up my collection of Massey Ferguson and Ferguson models. i mainly collect universal hobbies but have some siku too, most of the siku models are outstanding conversions by 132farmingmodels(convo). i don't really have a preferance to which scale i collect, i started off with 1:16th but latley have ventured off into 1:32nd models

I know who has done the Spalding one but I don't know who did the others, as far as a label is concerned, I assume that there will at least be a sticker on the box but I will let you know after Sunday as I haven't seen one in the flesh yet.
i saw one just over a week ago in the flesh but it never had any stickers on the box but i presume the show organisers will place stickers onto the boxes when the recieve them.

Last October's model was a Hawk Hire McCormick TTX and yes, I believe it was limited to 250. The weathered ones are always more limited than standard models, if you go onto the website there is a link to previous show models.
okay thanks mike
-
okay thanks guys, i'm going to buy one on the way in i think ;D does anybody know was the october 2011 show model limited too 250??
-
looks like a fairly good show model, does anyone know how much it's going to be??

The bloke who smashed into our field through 25 metre's of wall, in a transit van. he was just a bit shook up, although he was very lucky not to be badly injured or even worse. His van was written off completely so look's like an insurance claim on his insurance...expensive one too! He went along the wall for a fair way then ground to a hault just inches from a telegraph pole. we went up to pull him out in our Massey Ferguson 2640 which was good fun ;D :
-
On our farm we have a 2640 with a loader which we use to load up our muck spreader and pull a bale trailer in summer, it's a real beast to drive. we also have a 2645 parked in the shed which we use from time to time too.

does anyone know how much these chrome MF models will be sold for and where they will be available from?
-
its very hard to tell to be honest mate, the older siku 8 series that was done a while back does seem to hold it value well, but as with most limted editions the quantity made does not always help, to most 1500 is not really limited, even world wide, have seen some do very well and rocket in value, others never seem to take off ,just luck of the draw
ok thanks for the advice mate
-
ok thanks guys, my local dealer is selling them way cheeper than that does anybody think that they will sell well in the future?? just i'm thinking of buying a few
-
-
How much are these selling for at the moment, does anybody know?
-
All sound like great models.
My favourite purchase would have to be my siku scania truck which is in Massey Ferguson livery with all the realistic stickers etc ...conversion by 'convo', it's a great model and just show's the skill of peter in the models he produces
-
What is the best model you have bought in 2011?
-
