I think you are wrong here.
A replica is an exact 1:1 copy of the original.
A scale model is a represantation or a copy of an object, which seeks to maintain the relative proportions (the scale factor) of the physical size of the
original object.
By those definitions the Marge Fords with there out of proprtion noses are just toys. Nice toys maybe but never the less.

Thanks for re-posting Theike, makes sense now
PS Wow....you live really close to Germany!!!!!!
off topic
Surrounded by the Germans, Barry. We never mention the war! Although it slipped me once or twice.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like the Marge model of the Ford 8730.
As mrol first remarks the PAVT wheels are wrong. In real the sliders of the PAVT wheels go almost to the side of the rim.
Even set to its max. width, one could not see so much "daylight".
And the bonnet really is not high enough. The big nose was to me what the 700 tractors made so impressive against the
elegance of the 600 tractors.
Look where the F from name Ford sits compared to the grill. You see that the fond is to small because there is not
enough room.
The front wheels are to small. In the model they just reach the grill. In real they go up to 1/3 of the grill.
There is a clour difference between the front wheels and the rear wheels of the model. This because the front wheels are
made of plastic and not painted.
What bugs me futher is that the "ears" of the cab, where the filters are housed, are too small; there are not deep enough.
And the front direction lights are too big.
With some athor details wrong this is not a good model of the Ford 8730. But please be your own judge.

Got my marge county at the weekend. I dont like the wheels on the uh county but over all it looks better. The nose is lower on the marge making the bonnet slope down a bit and the bonnet should be higher up the front windscreen and this is why i think it looks a bit odd. I really like the front weights though and it sits well in my county collection. Twice the price of the uh one though! this might put on or two people off buying it.
What is wrong hith the 8730 is wrong with these. And the gearlever (which was a great problem with the UH ones) are also wrong.
.....and there are more remarks to make.

Green MF 595

Hello C. I've never seen one like this. I know there are some in a darker green with a yellow radiator.

Hello mrol.
Don't look at the models and chose the best looking but look at the original and decide what is the best model.

The front axel is to far forward and the wheels look plastic. The roof of the cab doesn't come down enough over the door. The rear wheels
have holes. But what is worst in my opinion is that the hood is to low. It should be higher than the heck. Its silhouette is more that of
a 7810. This for a price that is almost double that of athor producers.

Hello John Keane!
I have some ideas how I can display my models. For me there are two ways to go:
I hope my ideas will help you.

Cabwise the Landini 10000s from Weise would be a bether choice.
This because of place of the filter for the cabin.

So you agree. The Marge is not a good model. It does have (too big) flaws.
I don't have to make my models. I'm a modelcollector and I would like to see a good represantation of a farmmodel to buy.
Don't forget the Marge Fords are sold too! .... for twice the price.
The old Britains County (for exampl.) I own and treasure, doesn't have a detailed interior but they are
in proportion.
