  1. Brilliant posts & pics Phil, 80’s & 90’s we’re by far the best decades for me. Just packed up working on a 5,000ac set up, sadly after doing the job all my life it’s just not the same anymore.

    Keep em coming !

  2. Thanks for comments Tris, it certainly was a bit of luck with graphics. Thought we could do it from photos of the real one but it just wasn't good enough. Yep the old steering handle bars will have to go I think & another thing which Paulali with his 770 has picked up on is rear wheels are wrong way round so will have to put that right, & on my 770 as well, cant believe never noticed something as obvious as that !! Well done Paul. as said earlier would like to give lights & beacons a make over & possibly make spout a bit longer as we had XXL spout on the original for 1050 header. Good news about tank lids so roll on febuary !

  3. Header was made from 2 U/H Tucano headers, used middle section of 1 then 2 end sections off other one with brass middle arm, reel was the hardest job or should I say fiddlyest job !, got hold of a damaged Norev 770 for a steal which was the donor for the tracks which we then repaired the damage & converted to a wheeled one, biggest job with tracks was making axle frame to get combine to sit at right height. As we had the real combine at work contacted the graphics company who did the real one and they still had the artwork on file which I got a local company to scale down & print in vinyl so bit of luck there but must admit was one hell of a job to put on especaily round the back left hand side, had to cut it a lot but it dosn't look too bad. Would like to get some better lights beacons & numberplate to finish off & I hear PMA32 are bringing out new tank lids for Norev 770 so have to see what they look like as siku's arn't quite right.

  4. Excellent photos as usaul David, that white Lexion 760 will be working in essex/cambs & suffolk this harvest, its our machine but are very undecided as to weither to keep it like it, the jurys out !!  We had the combine new for last harvest so they did a grand job of cleaning her up. It went back to Manns after harvest to go in the showroom for customers to view as they didnt have unused one in the country at time then came up with idea if we would let them wrap it for Lamma then have it home as it is or put back to normal, would be intrested to hear peoples thoughts to feedback to paymasters as we cant decide at the mo !!

  5. Odd in a way that the Lexion 780 (badged as 770) has the V1200 header and not the V1350 45ft one. Although, it might not have fitted in with the rape swaths?

No 1350's on release in uk this year as problems getting straw powerspreader to spread 45ft so they holding back till this sorted

  6. just had 1 delivered yesterday, pre-series 750. went to Germany in may to see them and the powers at be couldnt decide weather to move them all up a number or add a + as they did with the 500 range but I think they have now decided to move them all up a number so 770 will now be 780 with old 760 becoming obsolete as it had no jetstream system. New cooling pack looks awesome & new back axle to allow 30" wheels for 780 + fully automatic cemos & a 1350 header !!

  7. Morning everyone, joined recently after looking for sometime. Been collecting for years but not bigtime, all 1/32 scale & a passion for combines. some excellent stuff on here & is a credit to everyone involved, about to take the plunge and have a go at few conversions, much to the dearly beloved's dismay !!!
