I'm looking to sell off some of my early brochures as I really don't look at them very much...............I'm starting with 13 MF brochures of tractors...............These feature  the following series.........2005,  3100, 3600s  from 1987 and 91,  6100s, 8100s, 8170 and 9240...............302, 300s...........see pics below

Looking on ebay most of the above are available for between £4 - £10s plus postage...............although I expect the 8170 and 9240 are a bit rarer as were the real tractors.

I cant be bothered to split them, but dont want to get ripped off on the cheap!   Whats the best course of action for a swift and fair price??

Smithy do you think after dealing with Farmers for 42 years it has affected my brain, but i would do it all again,i just wish i would have held onto more

brochures, but my missus says 14 filing cabinets & 180 lever arch folders full is enough, but then what do women know

Just remember take a big suitcase as Julie always tell you ha ha.

Been back and paid for them (well Colin took the money over for me ) and I still have all the zoo up the farm so don't think the bailiffs will be round as for a sensible offer well I think I will keep them for the moment but I could hire them out to you on a monthly basis with 6 months money up front and now you don't get fram farmers discount on this deal

Thanks for the offer Smithy, having been of work or should i say working from home recently iv'e come across a complete folder of County brochures that i forgot

I had bought somewhere, it took me by surprise what was in it so i may not need to hire your brochures but thank you for the offer,  with it was a complete folder of Ford tractor conversions

Including Doe / Northrop / Mastiff / Muir-hill / Jewelltrac / Agricar / Farm Tractor Drives / + others. I must get around to putting some pictures on the Forum and try to take an active

part rather than just watching and appreciating what others post. Ps i'm glad you kept the Zoo intact.

What I put is true as seen on ebay that the latest tractor brochures get put on there and people pay silly money for them when they could walk into their local dealer and pick up one for free. What's the point of having a forum if it's not for sharing your thoughts? I'm not going to change for anyone and if that's not OK well tough I don't really care, you don't have to read my postings. I wonder if you would have said something if it was a non Case IH brochure? A helpful tip for anyone if you don't want to see postings from people you don't like click onto their profile and there's an ignore user and you can click onto that and then you can set it so that you don't even see their posts.

Mark do you ever stop to think about disabled people who like us love collecting but rely on the internet for there collecting ability, it doesn't matter which brand of tractor

brochure it refers to i guess i just didn't like the terminology mug.

Put that on ebay smithy, some mug would pay a tenner for it>:D>:D

Mark i could say that about model collectors but sometimes it pays to keep ones thoughts to themselves, i'm an avid brochure collector & model collector but what i like

and other people like may not be to your taste. and i must add i did like Greengrass in heartbeat good picture.

been and got my euros ready for next weekends trip to Zwolle, then spent the afternoon fitting the new frameless shower enclosure, eventually got it right, but I highly recommend others don't buy one, t**t of a job is an understatement, if your wife ever recommends getting one, tell her she's fitting it,everythings straight and level, have checked it I don't know how many times, yet still the dam thing took an eternity to line up and get right >:(,but its in and sealed ,tomorrows job is fit the shower, after swimming with the grandkids mind

Sean was this a Brownie Point job so you could go to Zwolle, Well done for doing it may see you there.

Was working down London yesterday with my mates from Barking Forge had to carry a window guard up 3 flits of stairs out though a window/door on to some scaffold  get it level drill bolt holes right though the wall as bricks are soft and rawbolts would just come out .the building was 5 story's high and we was on the 3 story/apartment which was being decorated out by 10 polish men had just been sold for 1.5 million pounds

Hi Smithy, you keep doing these dare devil jobs! The next one you do, will probably be to deliver some lady a box of milk tray while absailing from a building. Mind you, I guess you already do that for the lovely Julie, being the old romantic you are.

p.s the window guard does look nice.

    Regards, Goody

  9. The yield was very good shame about the price at the moment £100 a ton and dropping .that is nice soil on that field but being wet it would not flow of the mouldboard. The MTX cab is the same as the MX and some other bits are the same my engine in the McCormick is a Perkins not sure about the Case but I think it is different

Smithy my maths are not good but surely 4.5 tons at £100 an acre is better than 3 tons per acre at £140 a ton, sorry i forgot you old boys like

5.5 tons an acre at £140 a ton.  Only Joking Smithy it doe's help us if you do well, and all the model suppliers who you buy from including Marty.

  10. After the 14mm of rain we had yesterday I put the plough on ground not to wet just sticky having rusty mouldboards did not help but were getting shiny after 10 acres the chopped straw did not help as there was a lot of it ,the Everlution wheat had come off at 4.5 tons to the acre

Smithy old mate have you not heard of that sticky stuff that's comes in Tubs or Cartridges that would stop you mouldboards going rusty,

but it doe's look like you have done a half decent job without gps, hope your well Goody.
