tried using the skid unit mate but it was not fitting correctly so used a 6920s chassia and the axles from the fergie mate then the 7530 for the other bits.

handy to know about the mf skid cheers pete

rain here just for a change :D sat doing paperwork  which i hate just as much as the rain. but i need to sort one of the sheds out so i can get back to doing some conversions

am working on another 6430 this time with the uh massey front axle and back wheels.

are you using the skid unit as well pete as i was thinking of a 6420s using the massey uint and wheels

bought a mf 2680 with cab off ebay for under £3 when it turned up the cab was smashed to bits as the person sent it in a bag  that catalogue returns are sent back in. ??? ??? ???

i like this version alot pete and ive done 2 of these now and i know what work goes in to doing it, i ve done one with a ttv front linkage and one with the standard weights .they look good either way mate.

biggest problem i have is spraying those wheels    i hate that job

i think the 44 is a valtra with a massey bonnet and different roof top sean

thats a great conversion mate like the lo line cab top as well

nice set there mate ,  need a 8 wheeled green trailer to go with the mf 8 wheel one, then i think you will all most have the lot

seem to have mispalced 3 vital bits for 3 convos i am doing, been right through the shed cant find them, saw them last week to > bound to turn up once i loose patience and order some new ones to you watch

and i bet you keep going back to where you think you left them  and saying "i know i put them here"

well loaded up the truck to go grass cutting  now its pi^^&^g down so again un load the truck. sod it i'm going to see harry potter as the the unwashed student up stairs in bed has free tickets

and masons are still expensive tim    but they had about 30 models in the show room but it was all old stock

maybe ?? the dobwalls yard went years ago, think its a truck workshop now, getting harder to find a good dealer latley , especially ones that stock models all the time, closest to me really fergy wise is launceston or whiddon down, nh is bovey tracy, jd ,you know, or cornwall farmers, 

went to wilcocks at heathfield on the mole vally famers road they had 5 models there and only one dealer box model a t7060. forgot to go to vallances the vltra place.its a poor show down these neck of the woods these days sean :'(

they are ment to be massey  dealers but i have never seen a new tractor at either yard,did when they had one in dobwalls ,but thats it, mostly parts.might have to hunt the other one down ,have heard of it, also does garden machinery ect to doesnt it, 

i don't think  i've ever seen any any garden stuff there mate . theres  not much there  really mate  but they keep a few tractors there. there manito dealers as well and theres a few of those too. unlike mst they keep leafets on display . i don't think i have seen a tractor at mst for a few years. there more garden stuff now . where masons had almost every tractor out in there yard . wanted to see the 7530 and 6930 side by side to see for myself to see the difference . but no 7530   maybe mst are skint if they are shutting down yards

whos the mf dealer that way nath?? know of mst but they dont tend to stock toys/ models at all

R&D at dartington at a place called tigley  .out the back and beyond sean, all dealer stuff but not the siku stuff. spray paint ain't cheap either is it. £9.78 a can 

a mate of mine used the 936 wheels on his the backs don't fit under the rear wings so he sanded the rubber down a bit till they fitted , looked smart when he had finished

as it was raining i went to the car auctions at exeter , saw a 53 plate astra van go for £1100  and it had low miles full service history and not a scratch on it . then went to JD dealers for paint and check out dealer box stuff  (nothing) then nh dealers  to do the same  and then mf dealers to see my mate in charge of stores and it was his day off so couldn't talk to him about dealer box stuff. they had uh mf combine , all mf 1/16th stuff , 8690 new colours and 5480 all in dealer box. plus picked up tractor leaflets from 4000 to 8600 ranges. plus mf paint too

looked at my paypal and was shocked at  how much i spent on ebay in the last 2 weeks  . god it can run away with you if you see a bargin :\
