Good Morning
We are organising a model show in Aberdeen on Sunday 29th May 2011 at the Marriott Hotel Dyce.
Open to the public from 10am till 4pm with trade and display stands. The show will incorperate Farm, Construction and Haulage Models.
We are looking for anyone that wishes to trade or display at the show. Further details can be obtained from Bc, Brianih634 or Myself.
This is a new event that we are hoping can become a annual event.

Andy I have been meaning to call you for ages but i'll give you a bell in the afternoon when I leave around 3pm.
I see there there is a Massey Ferguson combine and a MF135 in one of the fields at Dyce behind our office. Hopefully might see him in action as well.
theres a newholland 8070 and a mf 36 working at kinmundy, along with a very tidy fleet of massey tractors

You certainly not having a run of luck these days Andy....I do hope things improve for you. It looks as though it will be drier today with that wind. Do you think you will be fixed and combining today. If you are I might have a run out buy Newmachar on the way home this afternoon.
should be going this afternoon, give me a ring if you want bill

First day the barleys been under 26% for weeks and didnt get much cut, reason being some ba"$"$£ had slackened the bolts that hold on the grain pans, grain pans got thrown out the back of the combine breaking off the grain loss sensor board in the process. spent more than an hour jammed between the seives and the straw walkers scooping out barley. got going again only for the motor that drives the knife to break the sluds and fall off > > > > > > > >

Oh my heid Andy...I don't do whisky any more except for an occasional malt. I have been there drunk it and had the sore head and whisky breath in years gone by [
For me nowadays its the occasional pint of Mc Ewan's export or a "Black and Tan" ( 1/2 Export and i/2 Sweetheart Stout) and a wee Bicardi and diet coke
Maybe we need to take a refreshments tent to set up in the grassy grounds of the Southwaite Travel Lodge on the Saturday night ???

now theres an idea bill, are you taking aberdeenshire delicacies with you this year?
-
Well done Andy that's even better. I booked up way back in March when I got confirmation from Damian and Hazel of the date of the show from Harold.
Shame there is not a bar there either or we could have had a 1/2 pint shandy on the Saturday night ;D
a 1/2 bottle of whiskey would be more like it bill
-
more bl***y rain
dont think we will ever get the barley combined, some people saying the wheat is sprouting now
-
same reason for me Bill, managed to get it for £15 the night this time.
-
-
Ive got my room and tables booked, hopefully have some new products ready as well.
-
I didn't actually notice if there was a bar there last year Andy \ \
I assume the clutch is all fixed now and you are just waiting for it to dry up Andy ???
not sure if there is a bar either bill.
combine should be ready today, cant see it being dry enough though.
-
Only at Penrith for a selective few Rob ;)
i'l be waiting at the bar Bill
For me the weather is really annoying me, still got about 130 acres to combine, the barley heads are falling off and it doesnt look we will be combining for a few days by the look of the forecast. >

Not good at all
beginning to think im cursed, everything i touch seems to go wrong at the minute
-
First dry day for ages, finally got a start to the harvest, once round the field and the clutch of the combine packs in, great, meant to rain the rest of the week as well.
