  1. RC2 invested heavily into the 8530 precision and to date have had pretty poor sales with the model. I guess they have only scraped an

evens return so far, but possibly not even that. Therefore this addition will go someway in recovering some of the costs.

It wouldnt suprise me if the RC2 1/32 precision range dies a death in the next 1 -2 years, simply because not enough units are sold.

    Hey Andy,

I think the precesions series has a quality problem. I saw the 8530 model and Iam one of the collectors how dont want buy these models, because I think it is bulls...... If you compare it with the 8400 the 8400 looks much better I think..... I have the complete 1:32 precisions Serie, but the 8530 is the worst at all I think. The details of the cap are not fine enough I think. I did a convo odt the Britains 8430T and 7920 myself and i think it looks much better. I sold some of the yet during the 8530 from ertl was availebla.

  2. Hey Guys,

yesterday I bought a silver Valtra T at my Toy store. After I removed it from the package I recognized that the windows of the cab are very oily...... I celaned them with some paper towels. Today I watched the model again and saw that the whole tractor is a little oily like that. That is very uncool, because dust glues on it very good. Do you have the same Problems with the T valtra?

  3. I've ordered one, be good to see what it's actually like in the flesh.

Only 1500 made and I suspect a lot of those will be sold in Germany.

    Hey pdh,

over here in Germany I don't know anybody who bought one....... The Problem is: Who is buying a tractor which exists anywhere in the country??? If I paint one of my uncles Fendt in JD Colours and Manfred weise is releasing a ltd Model of it who want's to buy it?

A ltd edidtion like the blake or the white Fendt is always a nice model, because maybe you have seen the model at a show. This tractors are nearly famous and everybody wants to have one.... look at the prices from Fendt 936 black edition, they are just growing up.....

But if enough people are buying weises special editions, he'll keep on releasing them....

  4. Do Fendt have Deutz engines?

Is that the link between the two?

Yes, Fendt uses Deutz Engines, but the firm which builds engines and the firm which builds tractors are two different! They are not the same.

I just can say another limited edition I don't want to have  :(

  5. Hey,

don't worry, but I think for building a 7810 the UH MTX is the wrong base Machine. I think the measures dont fit at all...... The wheels are to small to I think. I did all my John Deere 7810 convos on the Britains Maxxum MX base. Okay it is a identic tractor like the Mtx but the measures of the maxxum mx are different then the mtx. I don't have a picture but this picture http://www.schlepperonline.com/hp/Bilder/bs/PIC_0048.jpg is taken on a toytractor fair at my stall.

    Best Regards
