I believe it was over that way Martin. You're right, you want to be in at the bottom and out just before the bubble bursts.....

Yes, I forgot about the Browns, that one was a bit longer I believe wasn't it David? I might have a try once I get it made.
Too be honest I’m not sure on dimensions, I didn’t realise there was a difference , everyday is a school day as they say .

A start on the cab with the floorpan, mudguards and cab front. There doesn't seem to be much to show for the time it's taken taken, but I'm wanting to cast these bits so they need to be right, especially as this particular style of Sekura cab was used on some Internationals and a slightly longer version fitted to the Deeres, so plenty of future uses for them!
Hmm , wonder if that cab could be slotted on to a britains David brown? , if it could I’d buy one from you

Our daughter making it through to the final of the BBC Radio 2 500 words writing competition! She'll be off to Windsor Castle next month along with the other finalists and will be on the Zoe Ball breakfast show live from the castle when they reveal the winners. Needless to say, we have one very excited twelve year old in our house at the moment! Her story is on the 500 words web page and if you'd like you can have a read or a listen to it, it's called "The day the door opened" by Emily Gibson. An excited twelve year old.....I can see I'll be spending more time in my shed. .
just read your daughters piece of literature, brilliant

It's just a pile of bits at the moment David, but I'm ever the optimist ( no matter what our lot all say!)

every thing starts as a pile of bits , you have the vision to put it all together

Well, I've already got the engine block cast along with the back end and some other bits and pieces, so once i get the bonnet finished the plan is to do both an XL and LP cab for them David, I'm just trying to build my collection of these older Cases and Nashes that I've grown up with as I think they've been overlooked by the main manufacturers.
great , your right , so many of these tractors have been overlooked , reckon they have lost out in a lot of potential sales by not exploiting the uk brands n sales

Thanks Ben, it's been suggested before, so maybe one day! I'm just finishing off a little weeks trailer that's been sat for months and months, but I've been steadily working away at building and casting parts for some more Internationals and Case's, so hopefully they will start to appear shortly, probably a few more 74 series to start with but I'm also working on a 4230 and an 885 as well
Would the 4230 be the low profile one ? used to use on with a quickie loader

Just spent half the day in A&E after getting arc eye from welding . I am welding with nearly 15 years & it's my first time ever having to go to hospital with it. Got caught this time.

I think I've developed a love-hate relationship with ours this year.....I love to hate them....! No matter what Adam Henson may try to tell us, there's nothing going on between a sheep's lugs!!!!
Adam Hanson makes everything all so rosey , yr right though , sheep are pretty thick , have you read a book called Funny way to make a living by Henry brewis , it’s all cartoon sketches but bloody hell he is 100% spot on

That’s very true on both accounts , remember as a bairn, moving yowes n lambs to more sheltered spots , even putting bales trailers out with bales around em for lambs to shelter behind , glad those days are long gone to be honest
