richie
Well my first show with my models and the diorama, Took all of my 1;32 stuff with me as well as the 1;87 on the Saturday thinking that I had 2 eight foot tables, but no, was told I only had the one booked. The guy I rang up to book them had gone on Holiday to the uk so no one to back me, never mind so most of the 1;32 stuff came back home, Most of the show was mostly die cast cars, I was the only one there with tractors. We had over 600 people throw the door on sunday, I had a lot of people asking questions about the diorama and the 1;32 stuff. wasnt quite sure if people would be interested in tractors with the show only a few miles from the city, But no it was a good day and I'll make sure for next time two or even three tables. Took a few photos of some of the displays, Sorry for the blurred ones took them in a bit of a rush.

richie
This is different cars and buses I think,!!!!! This guy that collects steam engines was telling me he bought the large steam boiler at the back left of the photo from a lady down his street her grandfather made it when he was 18 in 1890 at Whitley bay near Newcastle in the North east of England only 25 miles from where I was born, Small world eh. Deere-est
What a great little show and varied too. I love the car crusher and the fairground dioramas. Interesting story behind the boiler being made a stones throw from your birthplace, Richie. The world is a small place yes. Obviously, the best display there is yours ;)

richie
Well been to the meeting after last months show and came away with a trophy for first prize for they called a open table which means for as well as having a Diorama there was also a display of my static models as well. It came as a bit of a shock and thay also asked if I could display them at a place called whiteman park which has a car and tractor museum and a steam train rides a round the 80 acres of grass and woodland in the park. Its only for the two week school break we are going to have next weekend. Heres the trophy.
