An Interested Spectator
Just noticed the above tedder being advertised on the farmmodels web site. What size of tractor would you need for this size of (real) tedder ? It appears to be a six rotor machine. Is this a "big" machine for this type of tedder ? I don't work with (real) farm kit so judging such things are not always easy. The main model manufactures always seem to go for the biggest in any item, which does not always fit with those of us interested in machinery used on smaller farms. Cheers in advance Adie
masseyjack590
it's quite a medium size and i reckon it would 80-100 hp on it thats what a farmer near me runs his with a mf
Deere-est
You'd happily jog on with 60 - 70hp with that Aidie. Six rotor is about the norm, followed by eight.
