jdc
I was in at my AGCO dealer today for some bits and got the tour of this. He reckons it's the first in the UK of this model, but I don't follow Fendt too closely. A very compact tractor for it's output.
neilw
It does look compact, specially for the power, i thought I read somewere it was only MM shorter than the 900 series.....? Thanks for the pics though!!
Deere-est
John, back in the spring my friend had Farmers Weekly and Fendt visit them. They covered the 828 which Alvis Contracting had for a week evaluation, with reverse drive option. The day FW were there they had it mowing on the Pottinger triples. At the moment, Alvis run two 930's for ploughing, Solo-ing, mowing and other jobs. Both also have reverse drive. I think the 828 was pretty impressive in comparison. Have a browse on fwi.co.uk, the video may be there still

jdc
Thanks for the link, Tris. I like the way Fendt still put 'big' 38s on instead of lower profile 42s.
